Our Approach to Care
1. Comprehensive Assessment
Your treatment begins with a detailed assessment of your symptoms, movement, strength, flexibility and functional ability. Your physiotherapist will identify the factors contributing to your condition and develop a personalised treatment and rehabilitation plan based on your needs and goals.
2. Personalised Treatment
Treatment is tailored to your condition and may include a combination of:
Manual Therapy
Hands-on techniques such as joint mobilisation, soft tissue techniques, massage and stretching may be used to reduce discomfort, improve movement and support recovery.
Pain Management
Where appropriate, techniques such as taping, trigger point therapy and other approaches may be incorporated into your treatment to help manage pain and improve function.
Therapeutic Modalities
Depending on your condition and clinical assessment, treatments such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat or cold therapy and shockwave therapy may be considered as part of your rehabilitation.
Exercise Therapy
A progressive exercise programme can help restore strength, flexibility, joint range of movement, balance and coordination. Exercises are tailored to your ability and gradually progressed as your recovery develops.
3. Education and Self-Management
We believe that understanding your condition is an important part of recovery. Your physiotherapist will provide practical advice and guidance to help you manage your symptoms, stay active and reduce the risk of recurrence. You may also be given exercises and strategies to continue at home between appointments.
Supporting Your Recovery
Whether you are recovering from an injury, managing a long-standing musculoskeletal condition or looking to return to sport and physical activity, our physiotherapy team provides individualised care focused on restoring movement, strength and function.
