Menopause Health Check
A comprehensive assessment designed to support women through perimenopause and menopause, combining medical evaluation, hormone assessment, imaging, and personalised guidance for long-term health and wellbeing.
Why Have a Menopause Health Check?
Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can affect many aspects of health, including energy levels, sleep, mood, cardiovascular health, bone health, and overall quality of life. A structured assessment can help identify contributing factors, evaluate future health risks, and support informed decisions regarding treatment and lifestyle measures.
Menopause-Focused Medical Assessment
Your appointment includes a detailed consultation with an experienced doctor at our Harley Street clinic, reviewing symptoms, menstrual history, medical background, and individual health concerns.
Hormonal and Health Screening
Comprehensive blood testing is used to assess hormone levels alongside key markers of general health, cardiovascular risk, nutritional status, and metabolic wellbeing.
Imaging and Women's Health Assessment
This assessment includes imaging investigations designed to evaluate important aspects of women's health and provide a more complete understanding of your overall health profile. Pelvic imaging and breast imaging may be included where appropriate.
Bone and Cardiovascular Health
Menopause can affect both cardiovascular and bone health. This assessment considers longer-term health risks and supports early identification of factors that may benefit from monitoring or intervention.
Personalised Results and Guidance
Your doctor will review all findings in detail and provide clear recommendations tailored to your symptoms, risk factors, and long-term health goals. Where appropriate, discussion regarding menopause management and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) can form part of your personalised care plan.
A Holistic Approach to Menopause Care
The Menopause Health Check provides a comprehensive evaluation of both symptoms and future health risks, helping women navigate menopause with greater confidence and clarity.
