Chiropractor for Shoulder Pain
Shoulder pain can make everyday activities such as reaching, lifting, dressing and sleeping uncomfortable. It can arise following injury, repetitive activity, sporting activity or changes in the way the shoulder, neck and upper back move.
At London Harley Street Practice, our McTimoney-trained chiropractor assesses shoulder problems as part of the wider musculoskeletal system.
Rather than focusing solely on the painful area, we consider movement, posture and the relationship between the shoulder, neck, upper back and surrounding muscles and joints.
Treatment may include gentle McTimoney chiropractic adjustments, mobilisation, soft-tissue techniques and personalised advice on movement and rehabilitation.
We can assess
Shoulder pain and stiffness
Sports-related shoulder problems
Muscular shoulder tension
Postural-related shoulder discomfort
Reduced shoulder movement
Neck and shoulder tension
Activity-related shoulder problems
Our gentle approach can be particularly suitable for people who prefer low-force chiropractic treatment.
Where further medical assessment or investigation is appropriate, patients also benefit from access to the wider clinical services of London Harley Street Practice.
