Pregnancy & Postnatal Chiropractic
Pregnancy brings significant physical changes as the body adapts to accommodate your growing baby. Changes in posture, weight distribution and movement can contribute to back, pelvic, hip and other musculoskeletal discomfort.
At London Harley Street Practice, our chiropractor provides gentle McTimoney chiropractic care tailored to pregnancy and the postnatal period.
The McTimoney approach uses light, precise and controlled adjustments rather than forceful manipulation. Treatment is adapted according to your stage of pregnancy, symptoms and individual circumstances.
During pregnancy
We can assess and provide appropriate care for problems including:
Lower back pain
Hip discomfort
Muscular tension
Postural changes
Joint stiffness
Pregnancy-related musculoskeletal discomfort
After childbirth
We also provide gentle chiropractic care for women experiencing ongoing back, pelvic, hip or other musculoskeletal problems following childbirth.
Treatment may include gentle McTimoney adjustments, mobilisation, soft-tissue techniques and advice on movement.
As part of London Harley Street Practice, our chiropractic service sits alongside private GP care, providing access to wider medical assessment when required.
Our priority is to provide comfortable, individualised care appropriate to your stage of pregnancy or postnatal recovery.
