Our Special Health Checks

  • Sports Health Check £2750

The Sports Health Check is a comprehensive assessment tailored for active individuals and athletes who want to optimise performance, reduce injury risk, and understand their overall health. The evaluation covers cardiovascular and respiratory fitness, musculoskeletal health, and key performance indicators relevant to training and recovery.

The assessment includes a full medical and sporting history, physical examination, body composition analysis, blood tests, a 12-lead ECG, grip strength (dynamometer) and a Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test (CPET) to measure aerobic capacity and exercise tolerance. A dedicated session with a musculoskeletal specialist assesses movement, flexibility, joint stability, and areas prone to injury.

After the check, you receive a detailed health and performance report, plus a follow-up consultation with personalised guidance to enhance fitness, performance, and safe training progression.

  • Cancer Screening Health Check £1450

The Cancer Screening Health Check is a focused assessment dedicated to screening for 70 types of cancer. It is designed for individuals over 40 years of age, or from 35 years for those with a strong family history of cancer. The check begins with a comprehensive medical history, including family risk factors, lifestyle influences, and any early warning symptoms.

The health check includes a full examination and specifically uses a new and researched blood test to detect 70 cancers called TruCheck™. This allows the early detection of multiple cancers in asymptomatic individuals, including many cancers not typically covered by routine screenings.

The TruCheck™ Early Cancer Screening blood test offers a comprehensive assessment for the presence of solid organ cancers, identifying the type and origin of any detected cancer.

Following the assessment, you receive a personalised report and recommendations for further investigations, lifestyle strategies, or specialist referral. This health check offers reassurance and proactive guidance to help you take control of your long-term health.

  • Healthy Heart Check £2665 / £3865*

Our Healthy Heart Check provides a comprehensive, proactive assessment designed to identify early signs of cardiovascular disease and support long-term heart health. It is suitable for individuals with symptoms such as chest discomfort, breathlessness, palpitations, or a family history of heart disease, as well as those seeking reassurance and a clear understanding of their cardiovascular risk.

The assessment includes detailed blood profiling to evaluate cholesterol fractions, inflammatory markers, glucose control, and other key cardiovascular risk factors. A resting 12-lead ECG is performed to assess your heart’s electrical activity and rhythm. To detect intermittent or activity-related rhythm disturbances, discreet cardiac monitoring is provided for 14 days using a wearable ECG, allowing assessment during everyday life and sleep.

An echocardiogram is included to evaluate heart structure, valve function, and pumping efficiency, offering important insight into overall cardiac performance. A carotid Doppler ultrasound examines blood flow in the neck arteries and can identify early atherosclerotic plaque, helping to refine stroke and cardiovascular risk assessment.

Where clinically indicated, a CT Coronary Angiogram can be added at extra cost* to provide detailed imaging of the coronary arteries and detect narrowing or plaque before symptoms develop.

Together, these investigations provide a personalised and actionable picture of your heart health, supporting targeted prevention strategies, lifestyle guidance, and informed long-term cardiovascular planning.

  • Menopause Health Check £2580

Our Menopause Health Check provides a comprehensive and personalised assessment for women navigating the perimenopausal and menopausal transition, with a strong focus on current wellbeing and future health. The review includes detailed hormone and broader wellness blood tests to help identify factors contributing to symptoms such as fatigue, sleep disturbance, mood and cognitive changes, weight fluctuation, and reduced energy levels.

A structured clinical consultation explores menstrual and cycle changes, vasomotor symptoms, mood, sleep quality, stress, and lifestyle influences. Cardiovascular and bone health are central components of the assessment, recognising the increased long-term risks associated with menopause. Bone density is assessed using DEXA scanning, providing objective insight into bone strength and fracture risk. A pelvic ultrasound is included to evaluate the uterus and ovaries as part of a complete gynaecological review.

Breast health is also carefully assessed, with breast ultrasound or mammography arranged according to age, risk profile, and clinical findings.

Following completion of all investigations, you will receive clear, individualised guidance focused on prevention, lifestyle optimisation, and long-term health planning.

Following your assessment, you will receive clear, individualised guidance focused on optimising health and preventing future disease. This may include lifestyle and nutritional strategies, targeted supplementation, and discussion of medical treatment (HRT) options where relevant.

The aim of this comprehensive health check is to provide clarity, reassurance, and a practical plan, enabling you to approach menopause with confidence and a proactive, informed understanding of your health.

Healthy Heart Check

£2665 / £3865*

  • Duration 3-4 hours.

  • Detailed medical history taken by an experienced Physician.

  • Full system examination (Cardiovascular, Respiratory).

  • Full body composition (measuring height, weight, Muscle Mass, Body Fat Free Index, visceral fat rating) Body Mass Index, Body Fat percentage calculation, Metabolic rate, Metabolic Age.

  • Fasting blood tests (more than 25 specific lab readings): Haematology profile (including white cell count and ESR), Full Biochemistry profile relating to liver and kidney. Iron status, Gout blood test, Bone profile (incl. Magnesium levels).

  • Thyroid hormone profile test.

  • Diabetes screen: HbA1c blood test (measures your average blood sugar levels over the past 3 months) -  High levels indicate prediabetes or diabetes, a major risk factor for heart disease.

  • N-terminal proBNP. Detects heart stress, heart failure.

  • Lipid Profile (Cholesterol Test): Measures the different types of fats in your blood to assess heart disease risk:

Total Cholesterol: The overall amount of cholesterol.

LDL (Low-Density Lipoprotein) Cholesterol: The main “atherogenic” cholesterol; high levels drive plaque formation.

HDL (High-Density Lipoprotein) Cholesterol: This is the protective cholesterol which helps remove “bad” cholesterol.

Triglycerides: Another type of fat in the blood which is associated with metabolic syndrome and increased vascular risk.

  • High-sensitivity CRP: Measures inflammation, which is associated with heart disease.

  • Apolipoprotein B: A protein associated with "bad" cholesterol particles and is a heart disease risk marker.

  • Lipoprotein (a): An LDL type that is often genetically determined. High levels are linked to increased heart disease risk.

  • Lp-PLA2 (PLAC Test): This is an enzyme released by actively inflamed arterial plaques.

  • Homocysteine: An amino acid linked to blood vessel cell wall dysfunction and clot formation. It indicates increased vascular risk.

  • Fibrinogen: Fibrinogen is a clotting protein and marker of inflammation linked to cardiovascular risk.

  • Urine analysis to check for blood, white cells, protein, glucose and ketones.

  • 12 lead ECG for Heart Rate, Rhythm and Electrical activity.

  • Echocardiogram (Heart Ultrasound). An echocardiogram uses ultrasound to visualise the heart’s structure and function, assessing chamber size, valve health, and pumping efficiency. It helps detect early abnormalities, guide treatment, and provides insight into overall cardiac health, making it an essential part of a thorough Healthy Heart Check.

  • 14 day Cardiac Monitoring. Our cardiac monitoring service uses a discreet, wearable single-lead ECG device to detect irregular heart rhythms throughout daily activities. It continuously records your heart’s electrical pattern, identifying intermittent palpitations, skipped beats, or arrhythmias that may not appear during a clinic ECG. This simple, comfortable monitor provides valuable insight for early diagnosis and personalised treatment.

  • Carotid Doppler Ultrasound. A carotid Doppler ultrasound evaluates blood flow in the neck arteries, detecting plaque or narrowing that could increase stroke risk. By identifying early vascular changes, it helps guide preventative strategies and offers a clearer picture of overall cardiovascular health, making it a key component of a comprehensive Healthy Heart Check.

  • Personalised report, highlighting problems, health advice and an action plan.

  • Free 15 minute follow up appointment

  • Total Cost £2665 (without CT Angiogram).

  • Additional testing*

CT Coronary Angiogram. A CT Coronary Angiogram is a non-invasive imaging test that visualises the coronary arteries, detecting plaque buildup or narrowing before symptoms appear. It helps identify early signs of heart disease, enabling personalised risk assessment and timely preventive measures, making it a valuable component of a comprehensive Healthy Heart Check.

Total Cost incl CT Coronary Angiogram £3865
